Micheline Allaire

  • As a professional actress, Micheline Allaire has played many lead roles on Radio-Canada (1961-1971), the French branch of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation and at Expo ’67.

    Micheline Allaire founded and was artistic director of Théâtre-Soleil

  • (1971-1984), a touring company, where she wrote and directed 14 children's plays.

    The song "Vive l’Enfant" was selected as the theme song for the International Year of the Child in 1979.

    Her rich experience,

  • vast sensibilities and her love for Humanity are the essence for her involvement in musical endeavors with Alain Lemay.

    They currently give courses and seminars on positive self-development.

Alain Lemay

  • In 1991 Alain Lemay released his first album Healing Energy, an album that quickly became a classic in the new age genre in Quebec.

    More albums followed. With 90,000 albums sold to date, Alain Lemay has become established as one of the best-known artists in the genre.

    Alain Lemay is a classically trained pianist and self-taught composer who has been composing since the age of 14. After 11 years of piano study at Vincent d'Indy College, in Montreal, Quebec.

  • He later went on to get a Bachelor of Arts in Music from the University of Montreal. Alain also received a Master in theology at the Sherbrooke University.

    Some say Alain's compositions can be compared melodically to classical music and wonder which composer's music influences him most.

    Primarily Bach, Satie and S. Barber.

    Micheline Allaire and Alain Lemay have been collaborating

  • since 1991: theirs is a true partnership, in which they create and compose together, growing with and supporting each other along the way.

    With 15 years of on-going study on humanity and its components, they research how the body reacts to music and sound.

    Great emphasis is placed on mental and physical attitude and well-being, in order to harmonize the body and balance its energies.

  • Composer, arranger and guitarist, Luc Lévesque completed his studies at the University of Quebec in Montreal.

    He also studied lute at the American Lute Society in Michigan’s Oakland University.

    As a composer, he has contributed several

  • original soundtracks for «le Théâtre de la Grande Réplique».

    As an arranger, he reorchestrated Igor Stravinsky’s «l’Histoire du Soldat» for the theatre.

    Several of his original works and arrangements appear in sheet music, published by Les Productions d’Oz.

  • He is also one of the founding members of the Montreal Guitar Society Orchestra.

    Additionally, we can hear Luc’s playing on «Le Temple Sacré», Healing Energy 2 and Fascination all released on the Quantic Music label and produced by Micheline Allaire and Alain Lemay.

Nathalie Lachance

  • Nathalie Lachance

    Nathalie Lachance studied at the University of Quebec in Montreal under the apprenticeship of Alvaro Pierri.

    She also holds a bachelor of music diploma from UQAM and an MA from the University of Sherbrooke.

  • She studied composition and jazz harmony with Gaston Rochon and Libert Subirana, and in addition to teaching, she has collaborated on various musical projects.

    She is one of the founding members of the Montreal Guitar Society Orchestra

  • and has held first chair with them since 1996.
